Joining the waiting list

Due to high demand for driving lessons around St Agnes, Truro, and the surrounding Cornwall areas, I operate a waiting list for prospective pupils. Here you will find clear answers about how the list operates, what details are required, and when you can expect to get behind the wheel.

Waiting list frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about reserving your place, wait times, and how lesson slots are allocated.

How long will I typically wait to start lessons?

Waiting times vary depending on your specific location, your weekly availability, and when current pupils pass their practical driving tests. As soon as a student passes their test, their regular slot opens up for the next person in line.

What details do you need when I register?

The two most critical details required are your exact location (home, work, or college) and your availability throughout the week. Having flexible daytime availability often helps you get on the road sooner.

What happens after I join the list?

Once you are on the list, your details are kept on file. As soon as a suitable recurring time slot becomes free in your area, I will contact you directly via phone or email to offer you the lesson space.

Which areas do you cover from St Agnes?

I teach pupils based across St Agnes, Truro, and nearby local communities in Cornwall. Your location determines whether my travel schedule can accommodate your lesson pickup and drop-off.

Do I need to have passed my theory test first?

You do not need to have passed your theory test before joining the waiting list, but it is advantageous. Pupils who are test-ready or hold a valid theory pass certificate can often progress rapidly once lessons commence.

Is there a fee to secure a place on the waiting list?

No, joining the waiting list is entirely free of charge. You only pay for your driving lessons once your slot is confirmed and your first session is scheduled.
