About Keith Tyack
My name is Keith Tyack DVSA Approved Driving Instructor. I am the proud Dad of two incredible children Harry and Daisy. (The H & D in my logo are in a different font to recognise my children's initials) I live in the beautiful village of St Agnes, Cornwall, which I must say is the best village, community out there. I have taught a lot of people from the village which has its perks when it comes to getting last minute tables in restaurants or getting a last minute hair cut.
Learn to drive with a friendly, patient, and DVSA approved driving instructor based in St Agnes, Cornwall. From nervous beginners to confident drivers preparing for test day, every lesson is tailored to your unique journey.
My journey into driver training
After spending years managing teams in retail and hospitality—including eight wonderful years managing the Driftwood Spars in St Agnes—I decided to turn my passion for coaching and working with people into a new career.
I started my journey to become a driving instructor in August 2023, began delivering lessons as a PDI in November 2023, and proudly became a fully qualified DVSA approved driving instructor (ADI) in March 2024. Initially operating through a Bill Plant franchise before going Independent in October 2026 under Keith Tyack's Driving School.
A supportive atmosphere and modern car
I believe learning to drive should be enjoyable. In my car, lessons are always friendly and engaging, while ensuring that safety and genuine learning remain the absolute top priorities. I take special care to help nervous pupils feel calm, capable, and confident right from their very first hour behind the wheel.
You will learn to drive in a Brand New Volkswagen Golf R-Line (76 Plate). Fitted with dual controls and modern safety technology, it is smooth, comfortable, and intuitive—making it the ideal vehicle for new learners.
The reward of helping you pass
Every learner starts at a different place, but every student shares that same exciting milestone: earning their full driving licence. There is truly nothing more rewarding than seeing that moment of joy when a pupil passes their test and realises their hard work has paid off.
Whether you are starting from scratch or looking for focused preparation before your practical test in Camborne, I am dedicated to guiding you every step of the way.
Keith has been absolutely brilliant in teaching me and helping me pass. I had no other time driving except with Keith and I didn’t need it.
He’s supportive and is really helpful (even if you have low confidence and anxiety) but you can also have a laugh with him and I spent most lessons smiling and having a giggle with him. He’ll adapt things to make it work better for you and to help you with driving with it being completely unique to the person
I fully recommend Keith to anyone and everyone! He’s the reason I passed!
